What happens when eight young
people with cameras are sent on a tour of Nürnberg, with the goal of taking
photos that remind them of Atlanta?
The young photographers were out for six hours and came back with more than
4000 pictures! That's what happened during the last photo project of the DAI.
The tenth anniversary of the partnership between Nürnberg and Atlanta was the reason for this unusual project. Accompanied by the American photographer Raymond Romanos, the young artists walked through Nürnberg and photographed images that reminded them of the city of Atlanta. The results are astounding: with the right light, City-Point and Nürnberger corner bars blend into a vision of Atlanta. The 24 best images were displayed in the DAI in the exhibit "Atlanta: A Snapshot Away". Look for yourself ...
