Novelist and Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Richard Price and Pulitzer Prize Winner Lorraine Adams will share their latest novels Lush Life & The Room and the Chair with Nuremberg's audience. The Lower East Side in New York, illegal immigrants, FBI agents and terrorists, the Hindukush, Iranian landscapes as well as Dubai, the sparkling metropolitan city at the Persian Gulf - get blown away by a fascinating evening of storytelling!
Richard Price is known as the author of numerous screenplays, e.g. The Colour of Money, Shaft or the HBO series The Wire, for which he won the Edgar Award in 2007. He wrote seven novels of which some were made into movies, e.g. by Spike Lee.
Lorraine Adams was a staff writer for the Washington Post for eleven years and has published her second novel The Room and the Chair in February 2010. The book is about U.S. involvement in the Middle East, and about psychological and political blowback.
