Movie and Talk: "I am Sam"

Sam Dawson is a single parent with the mental capacity of a seven-year-old. When his daughter Lucy turns seven herself, the small non-traditional family are faced with problems: the authorities take Lucy away, arguing that Sam is no longer up to the task of raising her. Against these prejudices, Sam begins a passionate fight for his daughter, which teaches everyone involved about family life, love, and the potential of disabled people.
