Movie and Talk: "Religulous"

Bill Maher is looking for all kinds of religious views and practices in the US and encounters people with rather particular approaches to faith. A very broad spectrum of how religion is lived in the US becomes visible as the camera turns its eye on a Rabbi in league with Holocaust deniers, Creationists, gay Muslim activists, or Christian fundamentalists. Even while the film keeps an ironical distance, it reveals an element of US culture that should not be disregarded.
